Bible Reading : Acts 2
Meditation Focus: The Difference The Holy Spirit Makes
Thoughts For Reflection:
-
- (v 1-4) By sending the Holy Spirit, Jesus fulfils His promise! How does it encourage you in this season of your life about God being a promise-keeping God?
- (v 5-13) What do I notice about the fact that not everybody will understand / support a God thing? How do I respond to mockings and contrary voices to my faith?
- (v 14-39) What do I notice about the courage and boldness that the Holy Spirit brings? Are there areas of my life where I need that sort of courage in this new season?
In Prayer Today:
David said it all: I saw God before me for all time. Nothing can shake me; he’s right by my side. Acts 2:25 MSG
Affirm your confidence in God’s presence with you. Pray that because God is with you, you will not be shaken.
You have made known to me the ways of life;
You will make me full of joy in Your presence. Acts 2:28 NKJV
Pray that this season of seeking God will be one of direction and positioning in the ways of life. Pray that this year will be one where your joy will be full.
So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart. Acts 2:46 NKJV
Pray that as you wait on God today, He will cause you to rediscover a gladness and simplicity to life in spite of all the complications of the world

Amen.
Though Jesus had left them physically, he didn’t forget his promise to send the Holy Spirit. God is faithful.
I pray that God would make known to me the path of life as the year unfolds.
Amen.
