Day 21: Standing in the New

Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea.
Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.
And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”
And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.
Revelations 21:1-6 NKJV

You send forth Your Spirit… And You renew the face of the earth.
Psalm 104:30 NKJV

Welcome to a season of newness!

By the power of His Spirit, our God makes all things new!

We live in the hope of a new heaven and a new earth- but as we await and look to that, we live in the power of the Holy Spirit to renew all that we stand in.

What a journey it has been getting here! As you walk out this season, can I encourage you in two ways:

  1. Keep your eyes on Jesus through the help of the Holy Spirit.

His commitment is not just to give you the keys into a season of newness, but to walk everyday of the new season with you. Keeping our eyes on Jesus is always the point of a Christian’s life.

  1. Structure the Sensation

What structures does sustaining this season all through the year look like in your life? Like the starting of an engine, these 21 days have kickstarted something- now it’s time to switch over to the rhythms that will keep that running. A Bible reading and meditation discipline, a fasting plan, a strong christian community connection, and so on.

Welcome to the new!

With love and prayers,
Tolulope

What a season of refreshing this has been! Stepping into all God has in store for me this year will not overwhelm me. My focus is always on Jesus. There’s not a day of this year that He isn’t with me!

I believe and run with it!
