Day 16: Jesus, The Messiah

Bible Reading – Mark 11

Thoughts for Reflection:

(v 1- 11) Notice in our reading today how God is always a step ahead of us in preparation. The colt, its owners, and even those who stood by had already been prepared before Jesus had the need. In reflection today, remind your heart that God is already prepared for all the variables of what’s ahead of you, even if you don’t yet see the preparation.

(v 25-26) Jesus taught that on the basis of our relationship with God, we owe it to others to forgive them when they offend us. But he also taught that offences will come our way. In reflection today, consider how you can hold yourself accountable this year to not keep any offence in your heart. Are there decisions you can make ahead that will make you live offence-free no matter the nature of the offence?

In Prayer today:

And seeing from afar a fig tree having leaves, He went to see if perhaps He would find something on it. When He came to it, He found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs. Mark 11:13 NKJV

Pray that you will be productive this year in a way that will bring fulfilment to your generation and pleasure to heaven. Pray that through all seasons and situations, your life will bear fruit.

And Jesus, replying, said to them, Have faith in God [constantly]. Mark 11:22 AMPC

Pray today that your faith will be strong and steadfast through 2025. Pray that you will be surrounded by faith voices and influences that will stir you towards constantly growing your faith.
