Day 11- Acts 11

Bible Reading : Acts 11

Meditation Focus:  The Gospel’s Power To Spread

Thoughts For Reflection

  1. (V 1 – 18) The gospel is more powerful than our subjective prejudices. God is more generous with Himself than even we think He should be. Is your mind being renewed to accept God’s generosity towards others, particularly unlikely people? Do you religiously struggle with God’s character?
  2. (v 19-26) Do you notice how that a move of God thrives on people collaborating with God, but also, people collaborating with each other. We are all differently gifted in ways that makes us all useful to the purpose of God. Are there ways the Holy Spirit is nudging you to support or collaborate with others in this season? Don’t underestimate the value in it.

In Prayer Today:

If therefore God gave them the same gift as He gave us when we believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I that I could withstand God?” Acts 11:17 NKJV
Pray for an alignment with God this year like never before- to see what He sees and walk in His ways. Pray against the self-deception of decisions and actions that try to withstand God

And the hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number believed and turned to the Lord. Acts 11:21 NKJV
And the hand (the power and presence) of the Lord was with them, and a great number who believed turned to the Lord [for salvation, accepting and drawing near to Jesus as Messiah and Savior]. Acts 11:21 AMP
Ask for the hand of the Lord- the power and presence of the Lord- to be with you in your endeavours- specifically mention areas where you put out effort and pray to see the evidence and impact that follows from God’s hand being with you.

    Amen.

The hand of the Lord be upon me. May I be able to relate and work God’s purpose with all people this year in Jesus name. May I be a good man, full of faith and the Holy Spirit. And may a great many people be added to the Lord.
